Louisa So, a professional actress of the new generation, was born and grew up in Hong Kong. She is noted for her delicate performance and capability of playing a wide range of roles.

She graduated from the Drama School of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts with flying colours. Then she joined the Hong Kong Repertory Theatre as full-time actress. She has been featured in several famous productions, including "I Have a Date with Spring", "The Mad Phoenix" and "One of the Lucky One". "I Have a Date with Spring" was made into movie and later had consecutive run of 70 performances with huge success.

Louisa So also participated in television productions. After joining TVB, she has performed in drama productions of various styles, including "Detective Investigation Files I & II", "Plain Love II", "An Awakening Story", "Triumph In the Skies", "Misleading Track", "Men in Pain", etc. A lot of roles she played have been impressive to the audience.

She won a number of awards and nominations including the top 10 artistes award; my favourite drama artist (gold prize); the best actress award (Between Life and Death); the best supporting actress award (Noises Off), etc. In 2002 her performance in "Love in a Fallen City" won her the praise of being the best Bai Liusu. Louisa was nominated for the Best Actress Award in the 16th Shanghai Magnolia Stage Performance Award for her titles role as Bai Liusu.

Louisa is now active in theatre, television, radio and commercial dubbing work.
